Since the video, Ferras never came out to Texas to join Katy Perry and I on Warped Tour. So its been forever since I've seen my gay BFF Ferras. Its hard not to spread yourself thin when your two best friends are major label recording artist that both happen to be on Capitol records. So I was out of my mind excited to hear that Katy and I's paths would be crossing with Ferras in Chicago. My lil Cholita Ferras was in Chi town to perform at LOLLAPALOOZA along side of Kayne West, MGMT, Uffie, The Ting Tings and such as and such as.

April Matson-   My good friend and co-star Matt Dallas and I were killing time on set the other day and perusing MarkusIsTheDrug as we do every day on set together. Among all of the other wonderful things Markus keeps us abreast of, we get to keep tabs on what Katy Perry is up to and what people are saying about her. I’m a big fan of Katy’s and an acquaintance of hers whom I have the utmost respect for. This is the main reason I felt so compelled to express what has been going through my mind ever since I saw the Fox News clip shaming Katy for her supposed poor influence on America’s youth. Which, might I add, I don’t remember being so sexually pure up until the release of “I Kissed A Girl”.

Just the day before this “breaking news” (thank God they covered this what with nothing else going on in the world more important to discuss) Matt and I were looking at Katy’s outstanding new website when he turned to me and said “How fun to be Katy Perry. She gets to carry out her dream by having fun and being herself.” He was absolutely right. I’m not sure if I’ve ever met a young woman so authentic and I’ve definitely never met a girl who was so authentic and had this kind of career because of it. Katy writes her own songs, has her own fabulous sense of style, a tremendous work ethic and all the while has more fun doing it than one could imagine. She’s a good friend to her friends, a captivating performer, a true artist and happens to be really, really, really good at playing Taboo. (Is this the proper time to use the word IRONIC? I’ve been confused since Alanis used the term.)

I'm assuming she has because shortly after Katy P announced at the Spike TV Men's Choice Awards that she wanted to make-out with her, Megan Fox ended her engagement to actor Brian Austin Green. I say get your cherry chapstick ready Katy.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY ON THE 5TH OF JULY...

You know how they say better late than never. Well that's what I'm saying today. The woe's of touring with Katy Perry. There really are none, but if I had to list a few is keeping y'all updated by finding good Internet connection. Everything else is F-in amazing. We are having so much fun. I even had fun spending my 4th in Austin, Texas yesterday. We started off with some hot ass HOT wings at Hooters. Then it lead to a BIG ass nap at the Embassy Suites, you know, the place where everyone can feel like a BALLER because every room's a suite. Later it lead to an amazing dinner at some Mexican restaurant that our tour manager Julia Ervin suggested. She lived in Texas before. Y'alls, Queso is on a whole other level. After the feast I opted for a movie and dessert in my room. Katy and Travis went to see Andrew W.K. at Emo's. I'm kind of bummed I missed it because I heard the show was awesome! So that was how I spent my 4th y'all BIATCHES!
